Why should I register my academy?
By registering your academy, your students will have the privilege to sign up and compete in all IBJJF tournaments representing your academy. Also by registering they will be able to apply for their IBJJF membership ID card.
What are the requirements to register my academy?
As a requirement, you must have a black belt, and have a valid membership ID card from the IBJJF. If you are a black belt and not yet a member or have a valid membership ID card, you need to click on the link to request your membership. If you’re already a member, you have the choice to renew your membership.

If I’m not a black belt?
If you’re not a black belt and your academy don’t have a black belt as responsible, please contact us by the e-mail: membership@ibjjf.com
How do I register my academy?
You can register your academy by filling out and mailing the academy application form with a payment of US$50, either by check or money order. (checks and money order to be made in the name of BJJ international). You should mail all applications to the address:

The academy registration is valid for how long?
As soon as you certify or renew your academy, it will be registered with IBJJF.
Even though your school is registered but not renewed, your students can still be able to register in all IBJJF tournaments and apply for their membership ID cards under your academy name.
When I should renew the academy registration?
Your academy should be renewed If you need to make any changes on the academy registration (ex. academy address, name, adding new professors etc.)
